Students will be able to calculate slope (positive, negative, zero, and undefined) from a table, see it in the equation, from a graph, and from two ordered pairs.
Students will see 2 different problems where part of a coordinate point is missing, it it must be found to accurately match the slope, as well as two brief word problems.
Students will learn to graph direct variation equations in which the constant of variation is positive, negative, a fraction, or decimal.
Students can get plenty of practice solving direct variation equations with these self-checking task cards.
